Types of Signature Fillers available in W Clinic

Juvederm
This is a popular brand internationally. It has a monophasic structure which makes it gel like and spreads out smoothly under the skin so is used to treat wrinkles and facial lines. It doesn't give a lot of volume because of its structure.

Teosyal

Teosyal offers the most complete range of 100% non-animal origin resorb-able hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler products for a global and personalized treatment of the face. Hyaluronic acid maintains hydration and can be used all over the face, including lips, cheeks, forehead and the delicate skin around the eyes, as well as the neck and neckline.

Ellanse
This is a French based filler brand that is not Hyaluronic acid. It mainly uses an ingredient called Poly-Caprolactone (PCL) which is held in a gel carrier. This carrier gives the immediate lifting effect but lasts only 12 weeks, after which the PCL starts to stimulate the skin tissue to produce collagen. This gives the final lifted result and can last up to 2 years which is more than other fillers.

Sculptra
Another popular filler that doesn't use hyaluronic acid and uses poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). This ingredient works similarly to Ellanse, as it also stimulates collagen and gives similar results of lifting. However there is more after care needed for it than Ellanse as you need to massage the treated area as directed by your doctor 5 times a day for 5 days after the treatment.

We do also offer a range of KOREAN FILLERS and all the popularly used Korean fillers are Hyaluronic based but are made to be different during the manufacturing process

What to do Before getting dermal filler treatments?

• Avoid taking blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil supplements for at least one week before the procedure. This reduces the risk of bruising and bleeding.
• Avoid consuming alcohol and smoking for at least 24 hours before the procedure.

 What to do After getting dermal filler treatments?

• Apply an ice pack or cold compress to the treated area for 15-20 minutes at a time, several times a day, for the first 24-48 hours. This helps reduce swelling and bruising.
• Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area for at least six hours after the procedure.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, hot baths or saunas, and exposure to direct sunlight for at least 24 hours after the procedure.
